IP Virtualization (IP Virtualization)

IP Virtualization (virtualization) technology with Windows Remote Desktop Host Service linking technology that provides users access to network resources based on different IP addresses.

Before using the Remote Desktop Virtualization Host IP Service communicates with users all have the same IP address and the IP address and other network allowed us access to the resources. Use a separate IP address for each user in some special applications, have children, and in this case, users are logged out of the Remote Desktop Service allows them to use only one application. Remote Desktop IP Virtualization technology on the Service by assigning each user who logs on different IP addresses are able to provide access to applications on different IP addresses. As you can observe in the example below uses the Remote Desktop Server gives users access to different IP addresses, but the application server via Remote Desktop Server traveling on the same IP address. An IP address of the application server for allowing a user to access the user's access will not allow the other two.

Types of IP Virtualization;

Virtualization can implement two types of IP;

1        session per user (Per Session), for each user who is logged on a separate IP address is assigned. But this type have to be careful when selecting a point. If you are the type of Remote Desktop IP Virtualization server it can not have two Ethernet cards.   This is not supported.

2        Per Program (Per Program), who need a different IP address for an application or applications provide a different IP Addresses IP Virtualization is a type of appointment.

The Role of IP Virtualization feature comes installed with the Remote Desktop Session deafult, but this feature is disabled.   Enable this feature to "Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration" on Console "RD IP Virtualization" section, the "IP Virtualization" a double-click on .

In the Properties window, opened the first "Enable IP Virtualization" Let's activate this feature by checking section. Select the Ethernet interface through which the service is provided after doing this. Finally, by selecting the type of IP Virtualization completing konfigürasyonumuzu.
